The EP Committee meets the fourth Saturday of the month at 9:00 a.m. in the Pavilion.

Radio Safety Net Program

"Pancakes & Prepping"
The EP Committee, along with CERT, PMC Pulse and the PMCPOA Radio Club, provided an informative and very helpful winter and emergency preparedness presentation titled "Pancakes and Prepping" during a pancake breakfast town hall meeting.

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Though not a committee per se, CERT works closely with PMCPOA’s Emergency Preparedness Committee, so is recognized by the association as an important part of the community safety plan.
Purpose
The Pine Mountain Club CERT team is comprised of community members, organized under the umbrella of the Kern County Fire Department and Federal Department of Homeland Security, CERT members are trained for community disaster response, with training in First Aid, Urban Search, Fire Suppression and other basic emergency skills.
CERT meets the fourth Saturday of the month at 10:30 a.m. in the CERT facility or in the Pavilion during cold months.
