Election Committee
Purpose
On or before January 15 of each year, the chairpersons of each standing committee are asked to submit the name of one committee member who will become a member of the Election Committee for that election cycle. The committee is then responsible for the recruitment of potential candidates to run in that year’s PMCPOA Board of Directors election and coordinating the "Meet the Candidates" forums. The Election Committee first meets in February and then at times agreed upon by its members, and completes its business upon conclusion of the candidate forums. The committee is dissolved before the Board election in June.
Meeting Schedule
Each year by January 15, standing committee chairs are invited to nominate a member to join the Election Committee. This committee plays a vital role in recruiting candidates for the PMCPOA Board election and organizing engaging 'Meet the Candidates' forums. Meetings begin in February and continue as needed until the forums conclude. The committee completes its work before the June Board election.
