PMC’s Swimming Pool & Spa is a seasonal amenity for members and registered guests!

Important Pool Rules
  • No soap in the spa. Liquid soap damages water quality and requires staff reconditioning.
  • Spa controls: Use the timer for jets only. Do not use the emergency shut-off unless it is a true emergency.
  • No outside alcohol at the pool or concerts. Coolers may be inspected.
  • Showers are for rinsing only. Children may not play in the showers.
Pool Card Keys
  • Pool cards do not expire while you own your property.
  • Do not hole-punch cards (damages them).
  • Replacement cost: $25 per card.
Short-Term Rental (STR) Guests
  • STR reservations must be registered with the Business Office.
  • $5 per guest per day pool fee.
  • No exceptions!

PMC's main family recreation park with sports fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, and open space.

Fern's Lake
Ferns Lake is a peaceful, private community lake with scenic views, picnic areas, and catch-and-release fishing, open between dawn and dusk.

Access
Free for members and guests · Member or guest card required · Card must be produced to PMC staff upon request — if you cannot produce it, you may be asked to leave
Rules
No swimming or wading, by people or dogs · No activities that may harm wildlife, fish, or plants · No fires or BBQs · No littering (pack it in, pack it out) · No fishing on the dock · No access to the golf course from Ferns Lake
Fishing
Catch-and-release only · Traditional bait only (worms, flies) · No human food as bait · No food left at lake (bear safety) · No fishing after dusk · Only barbless hooks allowed (remove barbs if necessary) · Handle fish carefully so hook removal doesn't injure them · Poles available for adults and children — check out at the Rec Room (12–5 PM)
RC Boats
Battery or wind-powered boats allowed, 8:00 AM – dusk. Children 12 and under must be supervised.

PMC is surrounded by the Los Padres National Forest, offering hiking, trail running, and Nordic skiing opportunities year-round.

Trail Highlights - 
PMC offers a wide variety of trails, from short scenic walks to strenuous mountain hikes.

  • Woodland Waterfall – Short, steep hike to seasonal waterfalls.
  • San Emigdio Canyon – Historic trail with mining remnants.
  • Silverville Mine – Long canyon hike (no trespassing on mine).
  • Eagle Pass Ridge – Easy trail along the San Andreas Fault.
  • The Enchanted Forest – Scenic creek-side walk.
  • Sawmill Mountain – Variable difficulty forest hike.
  • Walk Below the Lake – Family-friendly wetlands walk.
  • San Emigdio Mountain – 4.8-mile true mountain hike with panoramic views.

The PMC Campground is a seasonal facility for members and their guests, accommodating tents, trailers and RVs in a secluded mountain setting.
