The PMCPOA Transfer Site provides a convenient location for members and their guests to dispose of household trash and recyclables seven days a week, eliminating the need to drive to the landfill in Lebec.

Closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day

Transfer Site Location & Hours

16142 Aleutian Drive (near the Equestrian Stables)

Hours of Operation:

  • Daily: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Thursdays (April – October): 8:30 AM – 7:00 PM

Please arrive early. Vehicles arriving near closing time may be turned away.

Accepted:
  • Household trash (members only)
  • Recyclables (cardboard, cans, bottles)
  • Green waste (yard cuttings only)
  • Cold fireplace ashes (with restrictions – see ash disposal policy)

* Recyclables such as cardboard, cans, and bottles are accepted seven days a week. Please help keep PMC clean by separating recyclables properly.

Not Accepted:
  • Furniture
  • Construction or demolition debris
  • Hot ashes
  • Noxious weeds

* Construction debris must be taken to the Lebec landfill.

 
Important Ash Guidelines:

Hot ashes are not accepted.

  • Ashes must be fully cooled and watered down before disposal
  • Ashes must be placed in the large gray ash container only
  • The ash bin is locked at all times
  • Staff will unlock the bin upon request
  • If ashes are hot, staff will require you to water them down before disposal

Failure to comply may result in ashes being refused due to landfill safety concerns.

The Green Waste Site is for yard waste only.

Critical Rules:
  • DO NOT mix pine needles with green waste
    • Pine needles must go in the pine needle pile only
    • Pine needles contain sap, dirt, and rocks that damage the chipper
  • Household trash is NOT allowed at the Green Waste Site
    • Trash damages equipment and has resulted in $14,000+ in repairs
  • A camera is installed to monitor misuse and prevent further damage

Improper disposal increases costs for the entire community. Please use each area correctly.

  • Site use is restricted to PMC members, guests, and tenants only
  • Member or guest card is required and will be verified
  • Maximum of four vehicles inside the site at one time
  • Please wait outside the gate until a vehicle exits
  • Secure all trash before transport to prevent roadside litter
  • Residents from Frazier Park, Lebec, and Lake of the Woods are not permitted to use the site
  • Please be patient and courteous to staff at all times
