Pine Mountain Club is a remote mountain community, yet residents and visitors have access to a broad set of local services, organizations, and emergency resources that support life year-round. From essential utilities and schooling to transportation, alerts, and community groups, the following resources help you stay connected, informed, and prepared.

Pine Mountain Club’s commercial area offers restaurants, retail shops, real estate offices, and a local market for basic groceries. There are a range of cottage-industry businesses operated by residents, and community amenities including places of worship and recreational facilities.

The local USPS post office, located in the Commercial Center, provides post office box delivery. There is no home mail delivery in PMC; homes above the “S” curves are served by the Frazier Park post office.

  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
  • Closed Sundays and federal holidays.

Kern Transit / Dial-A-Ride

PMC has active bus service via Dial-A-Ride, connecting to other mountain communities. Route 130 in Frazier Park provides regional service including to the Tejon Outlets, Bakersfield, and Santa Clarita. Schedule info and route maps are available at the Clubhouse lobby or through Kern Transit.

Kern Transit

Let’s Live Local (LLL)

A mountain communities nonprofit dedicated to supporting local living. Each year LLL coordinates delivery of Golden Fire wood pellets for winter heating. Orders for bulk pallets and individual bags are taken in late summer.

Kern Fire Safe Council

Works to improve wildfire preparedness and safety for PMC and surrounding communities. https://kernfiresafe.org/
